Rough weather on this family portrait session ~
Luckily the Latorre family was laid back, brimming with positivity, and great sports about the situation. (Enduring intense winds at a bone chilling 35 degrees fahrenheit!) Abandoning the original plan of using Humboldt’s flower garden, we headed over to the Boathouse to use the structure as a wind-block while we waited for the wind to die down.
It never did.
But no matter. After shooting some formals in the cover of shelter, we headed down some park trails to grab some walking and action shots. My hopes were high from the beginning, but still very content & surprised with the outcome. Here are some of my favorite shots -
